The Olympian goddess Athena reigned over wisdom, war, heroism, and crafts. For this runway look, RIANNA + NINA created a multilayered dream, composed from vintage lace combined with a Japanese vintage kimono from around 1900. The kimono itself is hand-embroidered with silk threads and completed with a hand embroidered edging around the neck. The model wears a blouse and a two-piece skirt underneath, both of which are crafted from a vintage lace tablecloth. A special embroidered table cloth was used for the upper part of the skirt. The look is completed with a ceramic jug and earrings.
