Thalia
Thalia, one of the nine muses in Greek mythology, was the muse of comedy and bucolic poetry. Her name is derived from the Greek word "thaleia," which translates to "rich festivity" or "blooming." This vibrant show look features a combination of a flowing dress and a beautiful coat. The coat is crafted from Kantha, a stitched patchwork cloth from India, which is then combined with volants made from silk organza. Vintage fabrics dating back to the 1950s were unearthed in Greece and skillfully rejuvenated for this ensemble, featuring exquisite hand-embroidery showcasing various patterns and motifs. The dress is made of vintage fabrics from Greece and then hand-painted by Rianna in our Berlin Atelier.
