Carpet Stin Potamia

The custom-made carpets, designed by the internationally acclaimed fashion brand, RIANNA + NINA, and produced by Soutzoglou Carpets, were exclusively created as a collaboration with the prestigious Benaki Museum. Highlighted by a fashion show, the two magnificent handmade carpets are hand knotted with wool and silk. The production of these pieces took six months as these were done by our artisans, knot by knot. The designs of these two carpets, Ta Proikia and …Stin Potamia, along with the collection titled ”Greece, I love you”, are all inspired and drawn from the Benaki Museum’s rich archives, opened for the first time exclusively for this event. The three factors involved for the creation of these two carpets, are tradition from the Benaki Museum treasures, imagination from RIANNA + NINA and experience and craftmanship from Soutzoglou Carpets.
