Polimnia is considered one of the nine muses in Greek mythology, representing hymns and lyrical poetry. This ravishing red cape is crafted from vintage cotton complete with fringes created by the skilled artisans of Museum Benaki / NE. M. A., Greece's oldest and premiere passementerie factory. The top and skirt underneath are made of the same cotton, while the front part of the skirt consists of a Chinese pure silk fabric, hand-embroidered with shimmering silver threads. Accessories add pleasing details to the look, while the entire ensemble is finished off with a pagoda hat, sourced from and made in Greece.
